The VMI football team will rachet up the fall practice schedule beginning Tuesday, Oct. 13.
“Fall Ball,” permitted under recent NCAA guidelines for college football programs planning to compete in the spring, resembles the traditional football “spring practice” period usually held at VMI in April and early May. Fifteen practice sessions will be conducted running from mid-October until Nov. 14. The drills will wind up with a Red-White scrimmage scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, at Foster Stadium.
