The sixth-place individual finish by Ryan Harlow ’25 helped the Keydets place fifth as a team in the smallbore March 2, day one of the 2024 Southern Conference Rifle Championship.
The action took place at The Citadel’s Inouye Marksmanship Center in Charleston, South Carolina, as the 2271 for the mixed squad was close to its team-best 2276, which it posted earlier this season. Individually, Harlow’s 577 was a few ticks higher than the score of Christopher Hicks ’25 at 574.
Victoria Phillips ’25 led the women’s side with a 566, with Emma Cameron ’25 scoring 559 just behind as the women posted a 2198 team score.
