Anne Springs Greenway is a 2,100-acre natural preserve with amenities like hiking trails, biking trails, kayaking, paddle boarding, disc golf, kids’ playground, fishing ponds, and more. Come out early and enjoy the amenities of the greenway with your family and friends. See link for more info ascgreenway.org.
By 5 p.m., we’ll have an area set up near the Greenway Gateway Lawn and Canteen for the Chapter to meet, socialize, and welcome the families of matriculating rats. Live music will be playing from 6–9 p.m. at this location. Come and go as you please, but feel free to come out as early as you’d like to enjoy the greenway amenities and then stay to enjoy the live music as you catch up with fellow alumni.
What to Bring:
• | Lawn chairs and/or blankets, especially if you plan to stay for the live music. |
• | Sports equipment (e.g. soccer ball, football, frisbee, etc.) for the kids to enjoy the open green spaces or the available amenities (e.g. fishing rods). |
• | You are allowed to bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks, or you can purchase food and drinks at the Gateway Canteen. Matriculating rats and two family members will receive a free meal from the VMIAA. |
• | Alcohol is available for purchase at the Gateway Canteen. No outside alcohol is allowed on the greenway property. |
An RSVP is encouraged but not required. Please RSVP to AdldoostAM@gmail.com or if you have any questions.
