Amy Goetz Chief Communications Officer
The chief communications officer reports to the CEO and is responsible for developing the communication plan for the VMI Alumni Agencies. The CCO has management and oversight responsibility for staff members who focus on developing print, digital and multimedia content to support the communication plan, and organizes and coordinates the design, branding, quality assurance and delivery modes of all strategic communication.
Scott Belliveau '83 Communications Officer - Executive Projects
The communications officer supports the strategy for all communications, including web content, public relations messages and collateral pieces in order to articulate and promote the mission of the VMI Alumni Agencies and promote philanthropy among varied constituencies.
Joe Czekner Creative Content Manager
The creative content manager is responsible for creating high-quality marketing and communications materials in support of the VMI Alumni Agencies mission. This role will also provide photography support for the Alumni Agencies events throughout the year.
Victoria Ferris Social Media and Communications Strategist
The social media and communications strategist is responsible for creating compelling, audience-appropriate, multi-channel content for social media, and for monitoring the VMI Alumni Agencies' social media accounts. The strategist supports all communications efforts, including email marketing deployment and training, website updating, and video editing.
Christian Heilman Director of Digital Content
The director of digital content is responsible for creating original video and multimedia materials, as well as developing and editing web and digital content. The director is responsible for platform coordination and troubleshooting, to include the VMI Alumni Agencies’ primary websites, digital newsletter and other digital platforms.
Mattie Montgomery Assistant Editor
The assistant editor assists the editor-in-chief in various tasks relating to the production of quarterly and monthly publications, as well as prepares written materials for publication. The assistant editor serves as liaison between class agents and chapter presidents and the Agencies’ publications, as well as provides backup photography for events.
Jordan Moore Editor-in-Chief
The editor-in-chief manages the day-to-day operations of Alumni Agencies publications, including oversight of the production process of the Alumni Review magazine and Turnouts, the Agencies’ digital newsletter. The editor is responsible for layout design and editing digital and print content, as well as coordinating with outside writers and photographers as needed.
Mary Price Development Writer/Communications Specialist
The development writer plays a key role in producing advancement communications. This role imagines, creates, and produces a variety of written communication to inspire donors to make gifts benefiting VMI. Utilizing journalistic features and storytelling, the development writer will produce content for areas such as Annual Giving, stewardship, and gift planning.
