Christina Cummings Director of Advancement Services
The director of advancement services develops and implements high-quality event services for VMI, the Alumni Agencies and the broader community. This position is the lead for strategic leadership, management, guidance and day-to-day oversight for the introduction, promotion, scheduling, planning and production of post and off-site events.
Tammy Horn Digital and Event Logistics Specialist
The digital and event logistics specialist is responsible for working with Alumni Agencies entities and alumni chapters to support the coordination and execution of various events. The event manager is a subject matter expert on the Anthology Encompass software platform with respect to event registration and email communications.
Amy Reid Assistant Director of Stewardship
The assistant director of stewardship assists the stewardship department in assisting donors, fund representatives, alumni, cadets and VMI and Alumni Agencies staff with regards to stewardship services and programs. Working directly with the director of stewardship, this position assists with the day-to-day organization and operations of the office and has a strong customer service emphasis.
Avis Slagle Director of Stewardship
The director of stewardship develops all stewardship reporting and documentation, including endowment reports, annual reports to donors, Memorandums of Understating and program/funding reports. The director also works on cumulative giving society and related donor recognition and serves as a point of contact for all department heads at VMI.
Ella Stephenson Advancement Services Assistant
The advancement services assistant will work in various capacities to support the advancement services team with a goal of enhancing the class reunion experience, alumni engagement, donor recognition, and overall Alumni Agencies’ event experiences while providing necessary administrative support to the advancement services team.
