Thank you to those alumni who participated in the election for the VMI Alumni Association Board of Directors. Simply Voting received 1,786 ballots cast.
In accordance with the bylaws of the VMI Alumni Association, the following individuals have received the requisite majority of votes to serve as regional directors:
- Michael Burke ’73: Regional director for Region II, to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028
- Mark Gonsalves ’81: Regional director for Region III, to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028
- Paul Hebert ’68: Regional director for Region XI, to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028
- Christopher McCallum ’96: Regional director for Region XIII, to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028 (reappointment)
- Andrew Bradshaw ’17: Regional director for Region XIV, to serve for a term ending June 30, 2027 (reappointment)
- Steve Amato ’83: Regional director for Region XIV, to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028
In accordance with the bylaws of the VMI Alumni Association, the following individuals have received the requisite majority of votes to serve as at-large directors:
- Adrian Garcia ’87: At-large director to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028 (reappointment)
- Kenneth Kalisky ’73: At-large director to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028
- Retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Joseph Lynch ’69: At-large director to serve for a term ending June 30, 2028

We greatly appreciate our alumni for submitting outstanding nominees and the nominating committee for the process they undertook to arrive at this slate. This process was conducted in accordance with the Resolution and Policies for the Nomination and Election of the Board of Directors of the VMI Alumni Association. This nominating process has not changed for more than 40 years, and this structure has served us well.
